Did you know?

Founded in 1885, Channing is the only Unitarian school in the UK. Its founding values of liberalism, tolerance and social responsibility remain central to the school’s ethos and underpin many of its partnership and community projects across north London.

Our takeaway

Channing is a confident north London girls’ school with strong academic results and an ethos that encourages girls to take risks and think independently. The atmosphere feels purposeful but warm, with a noticeable emphasis on community and social awareness. Facilities and space are somewhat constrained by the site, but the energy of the teaching and the breadth of opportunities ensure girls are kept busy.

"What really sets us apart is our underpinning Unitarian values of free thinking, acceptance and inclusivity, which are encapsulated in the Channing Promise of kindness and respect."
